The Academy Awards are creeping up fast, but before Hollywood’s night of nights, the Critics Choice Awards, held in Santa Monica on February 7, gave an idea of what and who will take the top gongs on March 2 – and also provided one blindside.
In addition, the event showcased a Hollywood love story that’s overcome so much recently. 
Adam Brody and Leighton Meester were both awash with emotion when he accepted the Best Actor in a Comedy Series trophy for his role in Nobody Wants This.
