Following a heartbreaking decade forced apart from her children, Sally Faulkner finally has her kids back in her care, after being granted temporary custody in a US court. A judge from the state of Georgia who has presided over the hearing called it "the most bizarre case I've ever seen in my life".

Sally's eldest two children, Lahela and Noah, who were 5 and 2 at the time, were taken to Lebanon by their father, Ali Elamine, for what was meant to be a short holiday in 2015. However, they failed to return after her ex-husband called her to say that "plans have changed".
