HOW THE BRIT IT GIRL IS NAVIGATING THE PERKS AND PRESSURES OF FAME

- Jennie Noonan

OLIVIA COOKE Keeping

On July 9, actress Olivia Cooke and her House of the Dragon costar Ralph Davis kissed between points while watching Wimbledon at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London.

"I was blind drunk off three pints of Pimms," Cooke spilled to UK's The Standard in September while recounting the "silver service" they experienced while seated in the Ralph Lauren hospitality suite.

"I was with my partner, and we were pissing ourselves laughing. We just could not believe the extravagance of the situation, and it wasn't lost on us or where we've come from at all."

Cooke's life has been especially peppered with pinch-me moments since she scored the spotlit role of Queen Alicent Hightower in the mega-budget Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon. Before that, she was best known for Psycho prequel series Bates Motel (2013–2017), starring in Steven Spielberg's sci-fi movie Ready Player One (2018) and starring with Riz Ahmed in the six-time Academy Award nominee Sound of Metal (2019).
