Actor Ryan Dorsey was in a supermarket on July 8, 2020, when he received a phone call informing him that his ex-wife, actress Naya Rivera, was missing. Their son, 4-year-old Josey, had been found alone and asleep in a rental pontoon boat floating on Lake Piru, Ventura County, California. “I drove 100-and-something the whole way with my four-way hazards on, chain-smoking cigarettes – and I don’t even smoke, really – and just crying,” he recalled in an interview with People magazine. “I just wanted to get to Josey.”
