DENMARK'S REIGNING COUPLE GLAM UP FOR A NIGHT AT THE PALACE

Clasping hands as they took to the dance floor, Queen Mary and King Frederik couldn't wipe the smiles off their faces as they led guests in a quadrille at Christiansborg Palace on February 28.

Looking resplendent in a blush sequin gown from British designer Jenny Packham, and a glittering tiara from the royal jewel vault, the Queen, 53, was undoubtedly the belle of the ball.

However, the dazzling dress' train proved to be a potential trip hazard. Mary, delighting guests, held up the hem while kicking up her heels as she performed the traditional square dance, known as Les Lanciers.
