After the record-breaking success of Titanic in 1997, whispers circulated that film's leading lady, Kate Winslet, was at loggerheads with its director, James Cameron.
In the film, she played Rose, a lovelorn passenger in the fictional movie set on the real-life ocean liner, Titanic. Cameron was- and still is fiercely meticulous, while at the time, Winslet was a newcomer to the acting world.
Still, it was a role she was desperate to land. "She even sent me a single rose and said, 'I have to be your Rose," Cameron recalled in a recent interview with Variety. In the same interview, the director and the actress finally addressed "feud" rumours. The speculation began when Winslet made comments about filming
