On May 6, Selena Gomez posted a candid carousel of snaps from the New York set of the fifth season of Only Murders in the Building.

"Five years and counting with these knuckle heads," she captioned the shots of herself riding shotgun in a car being driven by an animated Martin Short, with Steve Martin leaning forward from the back seat.

Before Gomez began work on the cosy murder-comedy series about a true-crime obsessed trio who live in the same exclusive Upper West Side apartment building, she had concerns that she wouldn't bond with Short, 75, and Martin, 80, who have collaborated several times before, including on Three Amigos! (1986) and Father of the Bride (1991), as well as their two-person touring variety show.
