Award season is in full swing, and on February 19 the great and the good gathered to collect their gongs at the 76th British Academy Film Awards.

Actor Richard E. Grant hosted the event, at London’s Southbank Centre Royal Festival Hall, and made a spectacular entrance arriving in the Batmobile wearing a Dracula-style, floor-length cape, kicking off the ceremony with a reference to the infamous Oscar’s slap between Will Smith and Chris Rock last year. “Nobody on my watch gets slapped tonight,” he joked. “Except on the back.”
