THE DUKE OF SUSSEX HAD A BIG WIN, BUT IT HASN'T REUNITED THE BROTHERS

Harry & William WORLDS APART

Without a place to stay after being evicted from his Windsor home in 2023, and needing to make his own private security arrangements, Prince Harry decided to skip the first few days of his trial against News Group Newspapers ahead of taking the witness stand. It was a decision that paid off when the Duke of Sussex was saved from making the trip to England entirely thanks to an unexpected last-minute victory.

The 40-year-old had been suing the publisher of The Sun and the now-defunct News of the World, News Group Newspapers, in London's High Court, alleging the publications had illegally obtained private information about him from 1996 to 2011. On January 22, a settlement that included the prince receiving a reported eight-figure sum and an "unequivocal apology" was announced, bringing an end to Harry's five-year battle.
