Are you heading off for a week or two and unsure what to do with your plants? Some hardy species may not even notice your absence, but most plants will begin to suffer if they're left unattended. Here are five ways to keep your plants in shape while you're enjoying a well-deserved break...

1. WATER PLANTS BEFORE YOU LEAVE

Give all of your plants a thorough watering the day before your trip. While watering on the day you leave might seem ideal, it's often a hectic time with plenty to do. Watering a day earlier means there's one less thing to worry about, and your plants will still have ample moisture to sustain them throughout your absence.
