A MILESTONE REUNION OFFERS HOPE FOR A NEW SERIES
It's hard to believe it's been 25 years since the fast-talking and coffee-loving duo from Stars Hollow first burst onto our screens. But it is fair to say that Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory Gilmore (Alexis Bledel) remain as loved as ever.
The actresses behind the small-screen icons reunited at the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony in front of a replica of their sweet little TV home to commemorate the milestone. To the delight of fans, the pair delivered their trademark rapid-fire, pop-culture-packed back and forth ahead of presenting the Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series award.
"Gilmore was actually a very small show, meaning we had no money," Bledel said. "We saved up all year long to have one snow episode."
"And then ER would wet down their street and wash it all away," Graham chimed in. "They had [George] Clooney! They could've let us have the damn snow."
