Summer means one thing in the Clooney household – going on holiday to Italy. And the family wasted no time in starting to enjoy a bit of the sweet life after arriving at their luxury Lake Como mansion late last month.

George, Amal and their children were spotted soaking up the sun while enjoying a picturesque boat ride on July 28. Looking relaxed as they gazed out at the water, the pair cuddled up to each other and their 6-year-old twins, Ella and Alexander, as they laid back on the deck, clearly relishing spending some quality time with their little ones. The evening before, the parents had enjoyed a date night, heading out to dinner at Gatto Nero eatery.

"[Lake Como] is an oasis for the family and the most exciting time of the year," a source tells Us Weekly of the trip.
