Proving she really is a one-woman wonder, Sarah Snook took home the Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Play for The Picture of Dorian Gray at the ceremony held on June 8. Her win came after the Adelaide-born actress portrayed all 26 of the different characters in the show in which she made her Broadway debut, following a run in London's West End.

"This means so much for a little Australian girl to be here on Broadway," the 37-year-old said during her acceptance speech. "It's billed as a one-person show but I don't feel alone ... This award belongs to the whole team."

Another Aussie golden girl was Marg Horwell, who won for Best Costume Design of a Play for the production.
