Every year, cinema lovers converge on Las Vegas for a week-long showcase of all the movie magic Hollywood has in store for fans. This year’s gathering at Caesars Palace was the most jam-packed schedule yet, with A-listers including Tom Cruise, Leonardo DiCaprio, Scarlett Johansson and Chris Pratt showing up to remind people that the cinema experience can still reign supreme over streaming.

Despite flagging box office sales in recent years, studios are clearly spending big on blockbusters to reel in the audiences. Among the anticipated releases are Thunderbolts, Jurassic World: Rebirth, Brad Pitt's buzzed-about F1, sequel Wicked: For Good and James Cameron's years-in-the-making next chapter in the Avatar franchise, Avatar: Fire and Ash.
