THE ENTERTAINMENT WORLD MOURNS THE 'PRINCE OF DARKNESS'
Tributes poured in thick and fast on July 22, following the news of John Michael “Ozzy” Osbourne’s passing at the age of 76. One of heavy metal’s most iconic figures, the life and indelible legacy of the “Prince of Darkness” was celebrated by musicians, actors and fans right across the globe.
However, it was the statement from his family - signed by his devoted wife of 43 years, Sharon, 72, and children Louis, 50, Aimee, 41, Kelly, 40, and Jack, 39- that underscored the profound loss felt by those closest to him. “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning,” they shared. “He was with his family and surrounded by love.”
