HOLLYWOOD SAYS FAREWELL TO A LEGEND OF THE SCREEN
He may have garnered himself a reputation for being difficult on set in his early acting years, but that didn't stop the tributes flowing in for Val Kilmer after his death on April 1. As WHO previously reported, the actor passed away from pneumonia in Los Angeles at the age of 65, with many of his former co-stars honouring him.
“I'm remembering Val Kilmer today with great admiration for him as a man and as a generational talent who left us an enviable legacy of indelible acting performances,” Kilmer’s Batman Forever co-star Jim Carrey said in a statement. “His greatest artistic achievements were rivalled only by the grace and courage with which he endured his life's most challenging moments.”
