TROUBLE FOR TIGER
Us Weekly
|March 27, 2023
Tiger Woods is making headlines again - this time over sordid accusations from his ex-girlfriend. Will she tell all?
When Tiger Woods and girlfriend Erica Herman quietly split after five years in October 2022, barely a ripple was felt. Fans weren't even aware the golf pro was back on the market. Then, in early March, all hell broke loose. Newly discovered court documents revealed that not only had Woods and Herman broken up months earlier, but Herman, a former restaurant manager, had filed a lawsuit in December claiming Woods owes her $30 million because he kicked her out of his Florida home and violated an "oral agreement" they'd made.
That wasn't all. On March 6, Herman filed an additional lawsuit asking to be removed from the nondisclosure agreement she'd signed at the beginning of their romance in 2017, citing a law that allows NDAs to be nullified in cases of sexual assault. "At first, Erica stayed quiet about their split because of the NDA," shares one source. "Her decision to take legal action is clearly a money grab." A second source adds Woods, 47, "is extremely worried about Herman's actions. "Tiger has worked way too hard to have his life come crashing down again," says the source. "He's convinced Erica wants to humiliate and embarrass him. He says she's out for revenge."
