The Real Housewives of Miami's Guerdy Abraira joins forces with Gilded Group Décor to throw a spectacular spring soiree
Bravo’s Housewives know how to throw a party — and Guerdy Abraira is so skilled, she’s made a career out of it. As the founder of the highly sought-after event company Guerdy Design, she’s learned that memo rable decor always contains elements of surprise. So step away from traditional pastels this Easter and go for unexpected elegance. Think: timeless green and white florals accented by captivating chinoiserie vases. “Against a backdrop of crisp patterned linens, the foliage and blooms exude a sense of freshness and renewal,” Abraira notes, “perfectly capturing the essence of the season.”
FOR THE KIDS
It’s smart to keep things simple for your youngest guests, but you can still be unique. Abraira suggests ditching the standard egg-dyeing kits and visiting your local arts and crafts store to stock up on acrylic paint and small stamps that exude the spirit of spring. “We chose tiny flower stamps to keep with the chinoiserie-themed tabletop look, but feel free to create your own color palette as long as you keep it less than three colors that work well together,” she explains. “Use a brush to spread a thin layer of paint on a clean surface, press the stamp on it to apply color evenly, and stamp away!” If your little ones are more culinary inclined, they’re in for a treat: Abraira has just the recipe to win over kids in the kitchen.
