The fate of The Walking Dead’s Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) has been quite the tease. AMC proudly announced a spinoff pairing the odd-couple fan favorites a full two years before the original zombie drama signed off in 2022… but shippers got their hearts ripped in half when McBride had to pull out. Plans continued for a party of one under the title The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, which sent the man of few words but many weapons to France.
