IT was a picture-perfect event: On the evening of March 15, Justin Theroux, 53, and Nicole Brydon Bloom, 31, tied the knot overlooking a sandy white beach in Mexico while close friends — including celebrity pals like Jimmy Kimmel, Ben Stiller and Paul Rudd — and family members looked on. After, the bride — dressed in a bespoke gown designed by the couple’s friend Victoria Beckham — and groom, in a white dinner jacket and black tie and trousers — posed for photos as her train billowed in the breeze. Later, guests danced the night away before retreating to the hotel bar for a lively afterparty. “I truly feel like the luckiest man on earth,” Justin told Vogue magazine days after the affair.

Some 2,000 miles away, Justin’s former wife, Jennifer Aniston, is licking her wounds. The exes were married for nearly three years prior to their 2018 split, and while they’ve remained on great terms, sources tell Star the 56-year-old actress was blindsided. In addition to feeling iced out by The Gilded Age star Nicole, Jen — who’s been open about infertility struggles in the past — now has to watch her ex begin a promising new life with a woman who’s 22 years his junior. “Jen knows Justin is dying to start a family, and she hopes he gets everything he wants — but it’s also sad for her,” says a second source, adding, “It’s always hard to see a former partner move on and have the happily-ever-after with someone else.”
