Sloan approaches Paulina about a scandal involving Chanel and claims to have the evidence to prove it. “She’s not taking it well,” chuckles Jackée Harry of Paulina’s reaction. “Chanel’s her daughter, and Paulina protects her at all costs. So she’s all guns on fire.”

Paulina fiercely stands up to Sloan. “She’s got a little swag. She [talks] some smack, as the kids say,” explains Harry. “Paulina’s a smart lady. She hasn’t gotten to where she is by reacting quickly or rashly. She tries to outtalk Sloan. She plays her game back and forth. She’s kind of trying to use reverse psychology on her [saying], ‘There’s no way this could be true.’ But she’s definitely scared for her daughter. She will pull out all the stops to make sure nothing happens to Chanel. She’s going to defend Chanel to the death.”
