Tears as fans label star 'tone deaf'

Molly-Mae Hague's popularity could be on the wane, warns an expert, as the influencer faces accusations of being "out of touch with reality"
Molly-Mae Hague broke down in tears last week after being slammed by fans, yet again, for being "out of touch". And now a PR expert has told new they believe the tide could be turning for the golden girl and that her star power could "all be over".
Molly-Mae is one of Love Island's biggest success stories, with an estimated net worth of £6 million. The 26-year-old hit headlines when she claimed on her vlog that she's had no fun over the summer, despite going on several lavish holidays which she shared on social media.
Most recently, she went on a family trip to the Isle of Man with her partner Tommy Fury, 26, and their two-year-old daughter Bambi, in their £86,000 motorhome. She later confessed she'd felt “overwhelmed” and had a “breakdown” when Bambi was overtired and screaming for hours.
While some fans were sympathetic about the challenges of travelling with a little one, others criticised the influencer and entrepreneur for moaning, pointing out that she has an affluent lifestyle and frequent luxury vacations, and labelling her “tone deaf”.
A source claims such posts really upset Molly and that the negativity can bring her down.
“She does get upset that she's constantly in the firing line from the public, but she also doesn’t understand why, because she doesn't feel like she’s done anything wrong,” the source said. “She works hard and is proud of what she’s achieved.”
