Made In Chelsea is back and two new socialites are joining the world's smallest dating pool to obsess about low-stakes emotional crises in high-glamour surroundings. Ski instructor Elys Hutchinson, 26, is a serial reality star who viewers may recognise from Netflix's Too Hot To Handle and Perfect Match. Now she makes her debut as the gang take a trip to Scotland.

“It's super exciting,” says Elys. “I joined during the Scotland away trip, which felt like being thrown in at the deep end. But I've really enjoyed getting to know everyone and finding my feet. I had one idea of how things might go, and it's already taken a different turn.”

As a fan of the show, Elys thought she knew which Chelsea stars would become her close friends. However, she soon realises that loyalties change all the time on the show. “I thought I'd be closest with certain people, and that hasn't necessarily been the case,” says Elys. “It's interesting how quickly dynamics shift.”
