A SOUTH Carolina man miraculously survived a vicious attack by a massive alligator that latched onto his arm, dragged him 50 feet underwater and pinned him on a murky river bottom!
"I knew I was about to die, no matter what I did," says William Georgitis, who was diving for fossils in the Cooper River when the scaly monster struck.
"He turned his head and opened his mouth to chomp down on my head and shoulders, and I defensively put my arm up."
