Authorities say the IRGC also planned to assassinate Trump after the election if they hadn't already succeeded, figuring their archnemesis would lose and be an easier target! International relations experts say Iran's hardline anti-American leader Grand Ayatollah Ali Hosseini Khamenei, 85, has been gunning for Trump ever since he ordered the death of Qasem Soleimani, the head of the country's elite Quds Force, via a drone strike in 2020.
