Hailey Bieber’s candor was refreshing. Just a few months a fter the model and pop star Justin Bieber eloped at a NYC courthouse in September 2018, she shared her thoughts on their nascent union. “The thing is, marriage is very hard,” she told Vogue. “That is the sentence you should lead with. It’s really effing hard.”

And it’s only gotten harder. More than four years later, “their relationship is on shaky ground,” a source warns Life & Style, adding that Justin, 29, and Hailey, 26, “appear to be at a crossroads. They’re not doing great. They’re both stressed out and emotionally drained. They’ve hit a very crucial point in their marriage — it’s not good.” Though some friends believe the couple’s Christian “faith and counseling will get them through this,” says the source, others “think a divorce could be imminent and lead to a battle over Justin’s $300 million fortune!”
