'Harry spoke about how peaceful and healing Canada is'
Harry and Meghan are headed back to Canada! As they reunited in Düsseldorf, Germany, to wrap up this year's Invictus Games, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex already had their sights set on what's next: the 2025 Invictus Games in British Columbia.
During a Team Canada reception, the couple were eager to talk about the highly anticipated event, which will see competitions held in both Vancouver and Whistler and feature new winter sports, such as wheelchair curling, skeleton and skiing - a favourite pursuit of the Royal Family.
Chatting with Bridget Bridge, the wife of a 2025 Invictus Games board member, Meghan revealed she's excited about the idea of bringing Prince Archie, 4, back to B.C. - and Princess Lilibet, 2, there for the first time - as she "really wants" her children to learn to ski.
"She said maybe Whistler was the ideal place," Bridget told The Mirror, as it's also where Harry has his own fond memories of skiing with his father and brother. "[Meghan] said she didn't ski, so we told her they must come and learn!"
