There's no doubt about it, the Taylor effect is alive and well! With the pop idol’s influence long felt in music (boosting local economies with each stop of a tour) and style circles (generating sales for brands she even inadvertently supports), Taylor Swift now commands attention in the bridal world. From the moment she and her NFL-star beau, Travis Kelce, announced their engagement, talk of her ring – an old-mine-cut diamond design – took flight, winning raves from brides-to-be. The same is sure to be true for the wedding gown (or multiple gowns) she chooses.

So what will Taylor wear? We asked eight Canadian bridal fashion designers to share their vision for her wardrobe on the big day. Naturally, each creation is undeniably fit for a (pop) princess – one who continues to shape trends as only she can.
