The Remembrance Day commemorations carry on to a new royal generation as Prince George makes his debut while mom Kate takes on an important role

LEST WE FORGET

Across the U.K.’s Remembrance Day commemorations - from London's most iconic events to Princess Kate’s solo engagement in Staffordshire – the Royal Family honoured the fallen with grace, style and two historic firsts.

Prince George, 12, made his Festival of Remembrance debut at the capital’s Royal Albert Hall, accompanying his mother (dad William was flying home from Brazil). Standing between her eldest child and her father-in-law, King Charles, Kate shone in a black dress by Alessandra Rich, featuring a white lace-trim collar. Accessorizing with a poppy brooch and Bahrain pearl drop earrings once worn by Queen Elizabeth II, she elegantly set the tone for the weekend’s reflections.
