A LABOUR OF LOVE: HARRY'S LIFE-CHANGING WORK WITH SENTEBALE
Hello! Canada
|September 04, 2023 (Issue 884/885)
Flying halfway around the world to support Sentebale by playing in a fundraising polo match in Singapore shows how important it remains to the Duke of Sussex.
Since co-founding the charity with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho in 2006 to help vulnerable children and families (particularly those afflicted by HIV/AIDS), Prince Harry has put his heart and soul into supporting children in some of the world’s poorest countries.
On his many visits to Lesotho, the “people’s prince” has continually proven that he’s not afraid to get his hands dirty. During one notable trip in 2008, he enlisted some friends from his army regiment, the Household Cavalry, to help lug wheelbarrows of wet cement over the rocky ground.
