Why stars from the Beckhams to the Jenners are flocking to the glamorous Riviera haunt for stylish summer fun

St Tropez has been synonymous with A-list glamour since Brigitte Bardot captivated audiences in the 1956 film And God Created Woman, after which the former fishing village in the south of France was transformed into a gilded playground.

Now, nearly 70 years on, celebrities still cannot resist its siren call when summer comes, with the Beckhams, the Jenners and Naomi Campbell among the array of stars spotted in the Riviera hotspot this season.

Sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner, who attended Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding in Venice in June, continued their European break with a stop in St Tropez.
