The British Grand Prix became a dazzling backdrop for the rich and famous as A-list stars saw Sir Lewis Hamilton deliver a masterclass to secure his 150th podium finish for Mercedes – breaking a tie with Michael Schumacher for most wins at one track with his ninth victory at Silverstone.

“I’ve been waiting for this – I can’t stop crying,” said the Formula 1 driver, full of emotion.

“I think, since 2021, every day getting up, trying to fight and to train and to put my mind to the task and work as hard as I can with this amazing team.

“This is my last British GP with this team. I wanted to win so much for them. I love them so much.”

Hollywood royalty Brad Pitt was revved up for the action as he made a rare public outing with his partner Inés De Ramón.

The couple, who are thought to have been together since 2022 but generally keep a low profile, were photographed holding hands. Brad, 60, looked effortlessly cool in a houndstooth print bucket hat while wearing a crisp white T-shirt, light chinos and a lemon jacket.
