Dazzling in sparkling sequins, glamorous stars of the big screen shone on the red carpet at the US Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ annual Governors Awards last week.
Actress Angela Bassett picked up an honorary Oscar to mark her achievements during 40 years in the film industry. Dressed in a semi-sheer golden mermaid Dolce & Gabbana gown, the 65-year-old What’s Love Got to Do With It star brought along her husband Courtney B Vance, 63, and their 17-year-old twins Bronwyn and Slater, who looked on proudly as the actress addressed the audience.
