The Princess of Wales champions a ‘sacred opportunity' to improve children's lives, launching animated films that highlight the importance of emotional connection

The Princess of Wales has described supporting early childhood as a “sacred opportunity to transform our societies” and raise children who are “better equipped to face the future”.

Kate's comments came as her Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood released a series of animated films on YouTube to highlight how everyday moments of connection help shape children's lives.

Marking their release, the Princess said: "Early childhood has been recognised as a golden opportunity to build strong foundations for future health and happiness.

"The new animated films from The Centre for Early Childhood show how adults can create nurturing, loving interactions with children, helping to foster social and emotional development during their earliest years.
