As president of the Football Association, it was a working day for the Prince of Wales. But the FA Cup final in London was also an opportunity for some father-and son bonding with Prince George.
The King's two heirs appeared side by side in the stands at Wembley after Prince William, 41, had met the players of Manchester's United and City clubs on the pitch before kick-off for the national anthem.
William wore a navy blazer with FA striped tie and George, 11 next month, looked grown up in an almost identical outfit - but he grinned over at his father with boyish enthusiasm when he shook hands with Manchester City and former Aston Villa star Jack Grealish.
