A host of famous faces joined the king at St James's Palace for a new awards ceremony celebrating people's connection with nature.
His Majesty, a long-time champion of sustainability, welcomed stars including David Beckham, Sir Rod and Lady Stewart, Naomi Campbell and Sienna Miller to the historic palace to hand out the prizes from his charity The King's Foundation.
And after bonding over their shared hobby of beekeeping last month, former England football captain David happily chatted to the 75-year-old monarch about Euro 2024, saying: "We'll be ready." Meanwhile, Sir Rod couldn't resist the opportunity to tease David - an OBE - about knighthoods.
Delivering a short speech, he said: "Penny and I are so honoured to be ambassadors for the King's [Foundation]. I'm also wonderfully honoured to be a knight."
