AMERICA'S STYLE ELITE IS OUT IN FORCE FASHION'S FINEST A-LISTERS DIAL UP THE GLAMOUR TO HONOUR TOP DESIGNERS IN NEW YORK

Hollywood stars rubbed shoulders with New York's style elite as America's fashion industry gathered to honour some of its top designers.

A host of A-listers from the worlds of film and fashion were among the guests at the American Museum of Natural History for the 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards, organised by the Council of Fashion Designers of America.

Among them was heiress and DJ Paris Hilton, 43, who turned heads in a red Oscar de la Renta mini dress, covered with 3D roses and paired with matching red heels and a red clutch bag.

The evening provided an opportunity for the mother of two to catch up with The Simple Life costar Nicole Richie, 43, who chose a more understated outfit - a long black backless leather dress from Proenza Schouler.

No doubt the pair had plenty to talk about, not least Paris & Nicole: The Encore, next year's planned reboot of their hit reality show.
