FORMER beach beauty Nicole Eggert prefers to think of herself as a Baywatch icon — not a Baywatch bimbo, as the media once labeled her and the hit show's other female stars.

And the 53-year-old mom of two, who has fought a valiant battle against a rare form of breast cancer since being diagnosed in 2023, definitely deserves to be called a hero. She's undergone a mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation to keep the disease at bay.

While she admits the treatments have been grueling, they've also given her a new sense of "fearlessness."
