Julie makes comeback on kids' podcast

TRAGIC songbird Julie Andrews lost her amazing four-octave voice due to botched throat surgery years ago, but the Mary Poppins legend is doing singalongs on her podcast as she searches for new cures and prays for a miracle, insiders say.
"It's still her dream to sing on stage with an orchestra, but even if that doesn't happen, she's content with singalongs in her podcast, voiceovers and other projects possible with her current singing range," spills an insider.

PHIL DANIELS plays a restless London youth in the 1979 British movie Quadrophenia, based on the Who's rock opera - but oddly, the chaotic production was not a musical, and the Who does not even appear in it! The lead was supposed to go to JOHN LYDON - better known as Johnny Rotten of notorious punk band the Sex Pistols - but the film's distributors thought he was too dicey a personality to insure. Nevertheless, production did not go smoothly. The Who's legendary drummer, KEITH MOON, died during filming, and a brawl scene in the seaside city of Brighton used two real- life rival gangs, resulting in a \"real riot - health and safety didn't come into it,\" according to Daniels.
