Ivan Briggs of PBA Galleries auction house in Berkeley, California, is no stranger to fine writing instruments. With 20 years of experience in fine pen auctions, he has seen it all. Still, the Fine Pens auction taking place on November 13, comprising over 500 lots of vintage and modern writing instruments, mainly Montblancs, has him palpably excited.
