Ghana’s oil and gas industry is set for a new chapter as the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) welcomes Mr. Kwame Ntow Amoah as its Acting Chief Executive Officer.

With decades of experience in the sector, Amoah’s appointment signals a strategic move to strengthen the country’s energy leadership and attract further investment.
Amoah steps into the role following the reassignment of Mr. Edward Abambire Bawa, who now takes charge as Managing Director and Group CEO of GOIL. Having served as GNPC’s Deputy Chief Executive and as an advisor to the Ministry of Energy, Amoah brings a wealth of expertise in petroleum policy, investment negotiations, and international arbitration.
