A journey of growth and innovation

Nestled in the heart of Pune, the RSB Group has been a cornerstone of India's automotive manufacturing sector. Specialising in the production of gears, shafts, hubs, and sleeves, the company supplies critical components to leading OEMs like John Deere, Tata Motors and JCBs. Beyond components, RSB also manufactures gearbox assemblies for small commercial vehicles, supplying major players like Ashok Leyland. With a legacy spanning nearly three decades, RSB has evolved into a powerhouse of innovation, quality, and sustainability, setting benchmarks in the automotive industry.

RSB's journey began in 1975 by two enterprising brothers, R.K. Behera and S.K. Behera, hailing from a humble middle-class background in Jamshedpur, driven by passion and a desire to forge a unique path. Their vision and dedication laid the foundation for a pioneering force in engineering. Over the years, the company has expanded its portfolio, venturing into axles, wheel couplings machining and air suspension systems. In 2022, RSB marked a significant milestone with the launch of its e-axle, followed by the development of an e-reducer for electric vehicles (EVs) like the Nexon EV and Tiago EV. Production of the e-reducer is set to begin in March 2024, positioning RSB as a key player in the EV revolution. The company operates under two verticals:

Automotive and Construction & Mining (CMI). Its sister company, IDZ, supports RSB in designing products like gearboxes, propeller shafts, and e-axles. With manufacturing plants in the US and Mexico, RSB has established a global footprint, catering to diverse markets with precision-engineered solutions.
