Hotelier India
|March 2025
Dinesh Yadav, Founder and Managing Director, Fine Acers Pvt Ltd, explains the increasing demand for branded residences and resorts in the Indian luxury real estate investment market.
-
India's festival season annually lifts consumer demand for a host of economic activities, from which real estate usually benefits. Along with the traditional way of buying land for investment during this festival season, other available options for investing in real estate are fractional ownership, real estate investment trusts (REITs), commercial property investment, infrastructure investment trusts (InvITs), real estate mutual funds (REMFs), and investment in co-living spaces. This new dynamic landscape also sees branded residences starting to be an important trend for wealthier buyers who demand luxury living with robust investment capacity. Many of these will be associated with iconic international hospitality brands; they promise privileged amenities and superior management services to attract lifestyle-conscious investors seeking a prized asset within India's rapidly evolving real estate landscape.
