Dayim Equipment Rental has mobilised 12 of the region's tallest aerial manlifts, with working heights up to 56 m, for Bahrain Steel's complex steel fabrication project. The deployment combines rapid equipment delivery, 24/7 onsite technical support, and advanced safety and telematics systems.

Dayim deploys region's tallest manlifts for Bahrain Steel project

DAYIM Equipment Rental, a key regional provider of access solutions, has mobilised some of the tallest aerial manlifts in the region for a high-profile steel fabrication project in Bahrain, the company's regional manager tells Gulf Construction in an exclusive interview.

The project is one of the company's most logistically demanding deployments to date.

"Dayim Equipment Rental was selected to supply some of the tallest aerial manlifts available in the region - 12 units with working heights ranging from 48 to 56 m - on a long-term lease arrangement," says Arun Jith, Regional Sales Manager - Kingdom of Bahrain at Dayim Equipment Rental. "In addition to equipment supply, Dayim is providing 24/7 onsite technical support to ensure uninterrupted operation throughout the project lifecycle."

The units are being used on a Bahrain Steel shed expansion project, managed by Al Namal Contracting. The jobsite presented exceptional access challenges, including tight delivery schedules, confined work zones, and rigorous safety requirements.

"This project stands out for its demanding timeline, specialised equipment requirements, and the scale of aerial access support required in one of the most logistically complex steel fabrication environments in Bahrain," Jith explains. "The challenge of rapidly mobilising 12 new, high-reach telDayim secured and delivered the machines including Genie’s SX-150 and SX-180 models – all newly acquired – within days, drawing on what Jith describes as “Dayim’s investment in fleet readiness, strategic supplier partnerships, and proactive project planning”.
