UK promotes trade and investment at Nampo

The 2024 Nampo Harvest Day, themed ‘Agriculture in a Digital Age’, attracted more than 900 national and international exhibitors, with 400 prospective exhibitors on a waiting list. This year the UK also formed part of the event.
Nine UK companies exhibited their products at the UK Pavilion. This included a farming software company, a crop storage and quality control concern, and a company specialising in, amongst others, agricultural technology.
Systems capable of eliminating viruses, bacteria, mould and odours from an indoor space also formed part of the exhibition.
John Humphrey, the UK’s trade commissioner to Africa, led the trade and investment delegation to Nampo Park to promote business between the two countries. South Africa is the UK’s largest trade partner in Africa.
