|December 19-26, 2025
Two South African wineries have secured spots in the Top 10 of the 2025 World’s 50 Best Vineyards, which features vineyards from 15 destinations across six continents.
Klein Constantia ranked sixth and was named Africa's Best Vineyard as well as this year’s Highest Climber after rising 36 places since 2024. Creation Wines, located on the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge near Hermanus, followed closely in seventh place, and second in Africa.
Vik in Millahue, Chile claimed the title of the World’s Best Vineyard for 2025, moving up from second position last year. Perched on a hilltop overlooking the Andes, the estate covers 4 450ha of nature reserve, with 327ha under vineyard.
William Drew, director of content for The World’s 50 Best Vineyards, said in a statement that Vik had shown exceptional commitment to creating immersive visitor experiences, blending innovative design with the dramatic Millahue Valley landscape.
