Skytrax Awards: Qatar Airways soars to top

In a stunning repeat performance, Qatar Airways once again soared to the top of the aviation industry, clinching its position in the competition for the title of World's Best Airline for an unprecedented eighth time.

This remarkable achievement, awarded by the industry's most prestigious honours (often dubbed the "Oscars of commercial aviation"), which has been there for 25 years, solidifies Qatar's position as a global leader in passenger experience.

Qatar’s win edged out last year’s victor, Singapore Airlines, by a narrow margin. UK-based Skytrax reported that the votes, collected from over 21 million customers across 100 countries evaluating 350 airlines, resulted in the closest race since the awards' inception in 1999, necessitating a recount.
