Over the past five years, warehousing in India has moved from being a cost centre to a strategic enabler of growth. India is emerging as the most-preferred market for expansion by third-party logistics (3PL) players in the Asia-Pacific region, with nearly 70% of occupiers planning to expand their footprint in the country over the next two years, says a CBRE report.
