Anritsu Corporation has announced that Samsung Electronics has selected the Anritsu Universal Wireless Test Set MT8870A for use on the mass-production lines of the Galaxy S25, Samsung Electronics’ next-generation smartphone that is compliant with the NonTerrestrial Networks (NTN) NB-IoT standard.

Smartphones supporting NTN NB-IoT can communicate through NTN using satellites, Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), and so forth. This makes reliable communication services possible in areas where terrestrial networks are unavailable, including mountainous areas and areas without a wireless communication infrastructure.
