UK to scale up production of mRNA vaccines

Scientists at the University of Sheffield, in the United Kingdom (UK), will receive up to £3.7 million ($4.8 million) from Norway-based Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) to establish proof-of-concept for RNAbox, a specialised process designed to scale up production of messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccines at regional vaccine manufacturing sites.
